Yakov and Angele Hanansen have been working on broad range of commissions for public and private spaces for over 35 years. Their careers started in the former USSR, where they were working on projects for interiors and exteriors. Projects included a variety of media such as mosaics, tapestries, appliqué, ceramics. Works were installed on the prominent public buildings, in the museums, schools, and private residencies. Hanansens were honored with multiple top achievement awards.

After moving to New York City, Yakov and Angele opened Unicorn Art Studio, Inc., which is specializing in custom made fine art mosaics for public and private spaces. Studio works with corporative clients, government organizations, private customers, architects and interior designers.
